Sunday Sangha

COVID-19 Update

While we are unable to meet in person, we are meeting via Zoom here.
On weeks text study, we will meet at 4pm prior to the service here.

COVID-19 Restrictions

Greetings Dharma family,
We are pleased to announce that starting in November we will be meeting in person again at the Lancaster U.U. Church, 538 W. Chestnut Streets Lancaster.

Criteria for in-person attendance at the UU Church beginning November 6:

1.) Get the current Covid booster shot and, if possible, get a flu shot. Unlike some sanghas, we will not insist that you show proof of inoculation in order to attend in-person. We're relying on the honor system. Regarding the flu shot, while not required, current predictions warn of a particularly bad season.

2.) If you choose to not get inoculated, you need to wear a mask. Those inoculated are not required to wear one.

3.) If you are ill or think you are coming down with some bug, please stay home and participate via Zoom.

These criteria are sanctioned by the Board and were developed in collaboration with the RRSMAB (for short). Let's keep everyone safe and healthy.

Thank you,

The Red Rose Sangha meets every Sunday night at 6:00 pm in the Emerson Room at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Lancaster, 538 West Chestnut Street, Lancaster, PA 17603. For more information, please contact us by email at, or phone Sensei Ed Sangetsu Sullivan at (717) 399-2974.

Our weekly service consists of 30 minutes of zazen, walking meditation (kinhin), a talk or reading, followed by another 30 minutes of zazen. Beginning instruction is offered to first time attendees.
